With a live book of 1.6 million customers, EMaC are the UK’s leading provider of after-sales care in the automotive industry.
EMaC was founded in 2004 and specialises in service plans. Within 10 years, the company went from zero to nearly two million customers. They are partners to many of the country’s top 200 dealerships and with vehicle manufacturers including BMW, Citroen, Kia, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Toyota and Vauxhall.

EMaC was acquired by Innovation Group in 2014. They needed a new digital presence that would bring them under the Innovation Group brand. It was important that they retain some of their own identity to continue to appeal to their already established audience.
So they called on Hybrid Studio
Clout Branding created EMaC’s brand and we consulted on the website design. Together, we produced the architecture and page wireframes for the new site.
There were several problems with their old website that needed addressing. To change or add content, they had to submit a support ticket, a process which took four weeks! In addition, the contact form sent messages to a single email address. These then had to be manually forwarded to the relevant department – a major time waster.
We built a leaner version of the Innovation Group website. It featured a single language with scope to add new language versions in the future. We connected them to our Innovation Group editorial workflow system. This would enable Innovation Group to review all content before it goes live.
We then provided training for EMaC employees, ensuring everyone was well-equipped to use the new system from the very start.

The result is a digital presence that retains EMaC’s individual identity and offering, while clearly being a part of Innovation Group. They have a CMS that is far easier to use and a much improved contact process for their customers. The new contact form automatically sends messages to the relevant department, selected via a dropdown. EMaC now have the freedom to edit and add their own content while giving Innovation Group peace of mind that it will always be on brand.
